Welcome to our school’s web site! I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve as the principal at Holly Hill Elementary. We are very fortunate to live and work in such a fine community as Enterprise, Alabama. It is the people that make our city a fine place to live, and it is the people that make Enterprise City Schools a fine place for our children to receive an education.

           The word “people” encompasses a wide range of individuals, not only to include parents and students, but teachers, administrators, secretaries, support personnel, custodial staff, bus drivers, maintenance workers, and lunchroom staff make contributions toward the quality of education that our children receive. The people of Enterprise are committed to see that our children receive a quality education.

           At Holly Hill Elementary our staff of teachers are second to none, and we believe in the development of the whole child. We will strive to achieve that goal by guiding each child personally, socially, and intellectually. We will provide a positive, nurturing environment in which children feel safe and respected as they develop a sense of pride and self-worth.

           Research has shown that the most important characteristic of effective schools include strong instructional leadership, a safe and orderly environment, school wide emphasis on basic skills, high teacher expectations for student achievement and continuous assessment of pupil progress. We are committed to see that these objectives are implemented at Holly Hill Elementary, thus insuring that every child receives the best education that we can possibly give. We appreciate all that our parents do to help us in this momentous endeavor.
